Corporate Assassin

Corporate Assassin

This sleek look was inspired by none other than the Assassin's Creed series of video games and designed to be more or less work appropriate. Provided, of course, you don't try to wear the hidden blade cuff with your blazer.

Since the assassin's in the series seem so fond of white, the majority of the outfit is centered around this color. The black pumps, logo on the shirt, and hat band give us three other neutral points of interest to help draw the eye-line along the length of the body, as opposed to just focusing on the one central point.

Using the red belt beneath the blazer should allow it to just peek out and give a flash of red from time to time as you go about your day. Alternatively, you could wear it above the blazer but this may draw more attention to your hips and midsection than you want. It's up to you.

The matching earrings and necklace add a bit more red to the mix while giving us an extra touch of femininity in the form of roses. Roses also have a reputation for being incredibly beautiful but possess hidden thorns that are capable of drawing blood. Fitting, don't you think?

The last touch is the bracelet, adding a final dash of red to the look so that when you're hard at work, a flash of red will peek out from beneath your sleeve from time to time throughout the day.

The fedora has forever earned its place in pop-culture as the gangster's hat, but it can also make a trendy woman's hat. Are you simply a woman keeping up with latest trends? or are you, perhaps, something a bit more deadly? Just another way in which I've tried to weave a double meaning into this outfit, not only keeping it stylish but also creating an air of mystique that only befits an assassin.
